HI'm Jared Gale and I am a full time close up magician who regularly performs at weddings and special events. View my wedding entertainment page here! - That's the plug over! On with the information:
Experience - When researching magicians, make sure to check how experienced they are. Do they have any reviews from previous customers? Do they have a professional website? Are they full time? If you have any questions, always get in contact and ask them! Their experience is often reflected in their price (see below) Style - When looking through magician websites, make sure to take into account there style, every magician and performer is different; some may chose to be funny and family friendly, and some may be more suitable to adult audiences. Have a think about what type of performance you are looking for at your wedding. Hopefully they will have a promotional video to show you some live performances too! Price - How much does it cost to hire a magician? - Magicians prices vary greatly, some may charge very little and some command considerably more for their performances. When a magician gives you a quote for your wedding, you need to take into account their experience. If they're charging a small amount (£50) to perform at your wedding, they most likely have little or no experience. A rough guide for 2 hours of close up magic should cost around £300 - £500. If there charging more thank that, ask them what extra they offer for the money, they could just be trying their luck! Here is my wedding entertainment brochure and price list to give you a rough idea. Check out my other blog posts here! |
