I am a magician based in Fleet, in Hampshire. I mainly perform at events throughout Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and London.  However, I can perform elsewhere upon request.

How much does it cost to hire you to perform at my event?

What do I need to provide?
Nothing at all! I always provide everything I need for all of my performances with me. 

When should I make a booking?
It's always best to make a booking as soon as possible, most people book between 3-9 months in advance. It's always worth making an enquiry though, if i'm not available, I will recommend another magician! 

How do I make a booking?
To make a booking;
- First fill out the form on the contact page with your event details.
- I will then get in contact and let you know my availability,
- You will then need to confirm you would like to book the event in!
(A deposit is required for some events)

What type of tricks do you perform?
- A list of a few of the  tricks and illusions I will perform can be found on each of my brochures.

Planning a wedding can be difficult, stressful and expensive! A wedding fair is a great place to find companies offering the services that you're looking for. Also you can find out more about their product or service, as well as seeing it in person.

Before you attend a wedding fair, make sure to think about what services you are looking to find out about on the day, and make a list of them. This will save you a lot of time when you get there, and will make sure you don't forget to visit any companies stalls.

Once you know what services you are interested in hiring for your wedding, compile a list of questions you want to ask the suppliers. Doing this will make sure you don't forget to find out any important information, which would help you make a decision.

Many suppliers will offer you a discount if you make your booking with them on the day, so if you find someone who matches your requirements, it could be worth making the booking to save some money! Make sure you visit all the stalls at the fair offering similar services, otherwise you could find someone who offers a service more suited to your wedding, or they may offer a better price.

A wedding fair is a great place to look for unique wedding entertainment ideas, their could be some fantastic ideas which you hadn't yet thought of, so make sure to go with an open mind!

Working as a full time professional magician, I perform at countless parties throughout Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire each year, many of which are themed! 

Here are the top 5 (in no particular order) party theme ideas that I have come across :

1 - Casino Parties - Over the past year, casino parties have, hands down, been the most common theme for a party.  Due to its popularity, it's easy to find plenty of props and decorations in party shops and online! You can hire a variety of casino tables (poker, black jack, roulette etc.) with staff, or you can buy your own card/roulette tables and host the games yourself.

2 - Ties and Tiaras - If you and your guests love to dress up for an occasion, this is a fantastic party option! It leaves a lot of freedom for all your guests, so they won't have to buy a costume for it that they will only wear once. It also leaves a lot of options for party entertainment ideas, without the restrictions of an obscure theme.

3 - Masked Balls - The 'dress to impress' masked ball theme is timeless and enjoyed by all ages. There is a lot of fun to be had with the masks, you can chose a colour scheme, or let the guest chose any mask. Remember to have lots of spare masks for guests who 'forget' to bring theirs!

4 - Films - These are a great way to put your personal taste into the party. Chose your favourite film, and theme the decorations and dress code around it. You can give your guests particular characters you want them to dress up as on their invitation, or let them chose who they like. A few film themed parties I've performed at recently are, Grease, James Bond, Alice in Wonderland and Rocky Horror! 

5 - Fancy Dress - These parties are fantastic if you can't decide on a particular film or theme for your party. It lets your guests decide who/what to dress up as, and show their personal taste and preference. Most people you invite will probably have a costume in the back of the wardrobe, or can put one together quickly, which makes it better for last minute parties!

Magicians prices can vary greatly from performer to performer, here are a few tips to help you!

If they are charging less than £100 for their services, they are most likely to be an amateur magician, or just starting out. If a magician quotes you a price you think seems low, be sure to ask them how long they have been a magician, and ask if they have any previous customer testimonials you can read!

The average price for a magician (based near your area) is usually between £300-£500 to perform close up magic at your wedding for around 2 hours. If a magician quotes between this price range, they are most likely to be a professional magician for hire. Before booking, make sure to read any previous client reviews they have on their websites, and if they are a full time professional, they should have a promotional video you can watch.

If a magician quotes you more than £500 to perform for 2 hours it would be a good idea to ask them what extra they do to justify their high cost. They could just be trying their luck!

- A magician will create a fun atmosphere as they break the ice between the guests and get everyone interacting.

- Some people don't enjoy magic as much as others.
​- Close up magicians can only entertain 1 table at a time.

Pros:
​- It's a unique entertainment type that will get the guests talking.
- Lots of the guests will take photos with the lookalikes and share them on social media, which can promote your event/message.

Cons:
​- Most lookalikes just take photos with guests.
- Some guests might not know the celebrities they look similar to.

Pros:
- These acts can be very impressive and add a real WOW factor to your event!

Cons:
- There can be a lot of health and safety considerations as the entertainment is very physical. 
- These types of entertainment use a lot of space.
